The new manager for global service is responsible for SKOV Global service processes and tools as well as being accountable for supporting the SKOV regions.
SKOV continues its successful growth strategy. This gives an increasing need for aligning service initiatives as well as ensuring the right competences at the right place. To handle this, we are looking for an experienced Manager for Global Service at our headquarter in SKOV Denmark.
The main responsibility is to manage a group of highly skilled Service Engineers that have a global mindset and are used to working in many countries.

The tasks of the department are:
- Responsible for content and implementation of the SKOV Service manual globally.
- Helpdesk and 24/7 emergency phone support.
- Technical support for spare parts.
- Onsite supervision and support to SKOV regions.
- Service in the regions Europe and Oceania/South Africa.
- Training of end users, partners and colleagues.
In your new job you can look forward to a great range of exciting and challenging tasks, but your focus areas will be:
- Responsible for an efficient and competent helpdesk. Secure that all support is handled in due time and create a learning path from previous cases.
- Responsible for planning and execution of service tasks within agreed time and budget.
- Globally accountable for optimizing and driving processes and tools that describe how to do a correct SKOV installation and commissioning (process description - checklist - training) and create a solution to secure that we always know if a given installation is running optimally or not.
- Accountable for knowledge transfer from SKOV Global Service to local service department and partners.
- Ensure to utilize service management system to easily cooperate across regions, to utilize resources best possible (Dynamics 365)
- Globally accountable for service representation in R&D projects e.g. requirement settings and implementation test procedures for new equipment, securing that no products are released with major faults.
In order to be a success in your new job we imagine that you:
- Have a relevant technical degree (B.Sc. or similar).
- Speak and write English at negotiation level.
- Are an experienced manager and have at least five years of experience from an equivalent job - preferable in an international organization.
- Have knowledge on technical equipment with high automation level. If you have experience from the agricultural industry and/or experience within climate solutions, it will be beneficial.
- Should expect approx. 20-40 travel days per year.
