Customer Service Representative

What does the job involve?

As Customer Service Representative (CSR) you are the Jiffy ambassador by managing and engaging the customer’s needs.

In your role as CSR, together with the Sales team, you are co-responsible for Service Leadership, optimal coordination, and administration of the sales information between customers, Jiffy operations, inventory control, distribution. The CSR reports directly to the local Customer Service Manager.

What are your tasks? Below you find the main responsibilities as CSR:

  • Providing superior customer service administration.
  • Assist both external and internal customers with order status, quotations, and other questions.
  • Handle export documents and various certificates.
  • Handle customer issues and non-conformities.
  • Support collection and maintenance of master data.
  • You are able to analyse the underlying question and you think along in such way that hidden needs or questions are answered.
  • Identify possible sales leads with existing customers and from different social media.
  • You proactively propose improvements to optimize the work process and increase the quality.

What do you need? Not everyone is able to perform successfully in this role, that is why Jiffy is looking for somebody who has:

  • Bachelor’s degree in international business, Communication or similar education are preferred but not required.
  • Danish and English is required. Any other Scandinavian language or German is
  • 2-5 years of experience in a Sales or Customer Service environment.
  • Knowledge about the professional horticultural business is preferred.
  • Good understanding of sales processes and dynamics.
  • Good understanding of logistics processes is an advantage.
  • Customer focus, proactive and pragmatic attitude & team player.
  • Broad experience in using Excel and ERP systems like Microsoft Axapta.
  • Experienced in using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
