Therefore, are we looking for a Customer Support Engineer, who will have direct contact with customers and deliver the best possible solutions in collaboration with them.
With direct reference to our Customer Support Manager, Denmark, you will become a part of a team which focuses on giving our customers the best service. We work continuously towards improving our competences and processes in order to ensure high efficiency on our deliveries. Besides the external customer interaction, the team also has a broad interaction within the organisation. As a Customer Support Engineer, you will become a part of a team consisting of six Customer Support Engineers who provide support on a wide range of Kamstrup’s products, including meters and other hardware, as well as system solutions for our customers in and outside of Denmark. The team consists of diverse profiles within mechanical engineering, system technicians, and IT-supporters, why sparring and knowledge sharing is crucial in our team.
A job with focus on high service and customer support
In the role as Customer Support Engineeryour primary tasks will be to provide service and support to our customers on the phone and through our online service management system, ServiceNow. In the role of Customer Support Engineer, you will be the customers’ single point of contact, why you will be responsible for providing them with the best solution for their problem, either from your own knowledge of Kamstrup’s products and solutions, or by seeking support from more specialised colleagues.
More specifically, you will be responsible for:
Personality matters
There are several entry points to this position, as we imagine that you have a background in Marine Engineering, IT-Support or similar where you have accumulated great competencies within customer contact and IT. However, most important is your desire to provide excellent customer experience through dialogue and a technical understanding.
As a person, you work independently and you have a high drive. You thrive in a dynamic environment with many different tasks, and you are a fast learner. You naturally assume responsibility while also being a team player who appreciates sparring with your colleagues and ensures that you succeed as a team. Furthermore, you welcome challenges and pride yourself on delivering top quality solutions – even on more routine deliveries and tasks. Lastly, you are also a good communicator with a contagious energy which makes customers value their contact with you.
It is a requirement that you master English and Danish – both written and oral. Knowledge of Norwegian, Swedish, or German will furthermore be seen as an advantage.

- Handling all incoming requests from customers via phone, mail or service management system
- Providing support for hardware related problems (including meters, concentrators, etc.)
- Screening issues, prioritizing tasks and identifying critical incidents and escalate if needed
- Scoping and defining requests for service and changes
- Educating customers and colleagues in Kamstrup’s different solutions and applications
