Therefore, we are looking for a Customer Support Manager to support the business on the future growth journey with high quality in our customer service.
With direct reference to the Head of Global Customer Support, you will become a part of a team which focuses on providing best-in-class customer support. Besides the external customer interaction, the team has a broad interaction within the organisation. As a Customer Support Manager, you will lead a team consisting of 6 Customer Support Engineers who provide support on a wide range of Kamstrup’s products, including hardware, as well as system solutions for our customers in and outside of Denmark. The team consists of diverse profiles within mechanical engineering, system technicians, and IT-supporters, why sparring and knowledge sharing is natural in our team. In addition to leading the Danish team you will also be part of the Service Managers team which collaborate across geographical areas towards improving our service function across Kamstrup.
A job with focus on team management and cooperation
In the role as Customer Support Manager, you will play a central role in ensuring high customer satisfaction in our support and operation deliveries. Being ISO27001 and ISAE3000 certified, we are already holding a strong position, but we seek your leadership to take us even further. Your primary task will evolve around the team, and include continuously prioritization of tasks and identification of critical or major incidents as well as employee training, recruitment and collaboration with stakeholders across the organisation.
More specifically, you will be responsible for:
Personality matters
In the role as Customer Support Manager, you will handle support requests within both hardware and system solutions, and you therefore have a technical background as IT-supporter, Computer Scientist or similar which has giving you a strong foundation of knowledge and understanding of IT systems and software solutions. You have +5 years of experience in a customer support environment and +2 years of experience as a people leader. Knowledge from the utility- or water industry is an advantage but not a must. Furthermore, experience with a ticket system like ServiceNow is beneficial.
As a person, you are a natural leader, who easily motivates and guides your team. You are an excellent communicator and build strong relationships with your colleagues and various stakeholders. You are ambitious on your own- and on your teams behalf, and set the direction while leading by example. Your leadership style reflects the values of trust, tolerance and respect and create a positive work environment.
It is a requirement that you master English and Danish both written and oral.

- Making certain that support requests are professionally and efficiently handled
