With a direct reference to our Head of Indirect Sourcing, you will become part of a small, but skilled and ambitious team of 6 colleagues that combined covers Kamstrup’s 10 indirect sourcing categories. Through structured category management, we strive to provide excellent stakeholder experience, build strong relationships with key suppliers and optimize and right size the way we do sourcing. You will further be a part of our larger Sourcing department, which consist of 25 skilled colleagues. Our ambition is to support Kamstrup’s continued growth journey by finding the best partners and suppliers, so we can continue to deliver the best services at a competitive price. Strategic Sourcing Manager with focus on category management
As our new Strategic Sourcing Manager you will become the driving force in implementing category management for one of our key categories. This could be the category “Professional Services” or the category “IT”, depending on your competence, experience and motivation. Implementing category management is a cross organizational exercise that requires engaging and motivating key stakeholders.
You will further be responsible for:
• Developing the overall category strategy in alignment with key stakeholders
• Analyzing spend, contracts, suppliers, supply market situation, innovation, etc.
• Execution of the category strategy
• Relationship management toward suppliers and partners
• Ensuring that sourced services and products will support stakeholders to fulfill their strategic targets at an attractive TCO
• Contribute to the team with leanings, knowledge sharing, feedback and best practices experience.
In the job, you can expect 5-15 travel days per year.
Personality matters
We are looking for an independent result-oriented Strategic Sourcing Manager, who can contribute to the continued success of Kamstrup through great business understanding and drive. You have a minimum of 5 years of experience, preferable from a similar position within Sourcing. You have an academic background, within Business, Engineering, IT or similar.
As a person you work proactive and are always seeking new information which makes you challenge status quo. You have great interpersonal- and stakeholder management skills and are efficient in communicating across all levels of the organisation as well as with external partners. You are structured, able to prioritize and persistent.
It is a requirement that you speak and write English and Danish fluently.
