About the department
The Global Safety Quality Control & Analysis department is part of the QPPV Office within Global Safety in R&D. Global Safety is globally responsible for monitoring product safety, customer complaints and potential recalls in Novo Nordisk.
The primary responsibility of the Quality Control & Analysis department is performing Quality Control (QC) of Novo Nordisk product safety information and customer complaints to ensure high data quality to fulfil expectations from regulatory authorities worldwide. We perform trending and analysis based on QC data to identify business needs for procedure updates, and we work closely with case handling departments and affiliates to align and optimise case handling processes and procedures across Global Safety. We are a highly-digitalized team, in charge of a number of digital tools and an automation robot that support the above processes.
The position
One of your key responsibilities is to manage projects to develop and maintain our digital tools (e.g. QlikSense, RPA, PowerApps) and improve our work processes to ensure continuous QC process optimisation and excellent quality data deliverables. You will act as an analyst who can prepare URS and other technical documentation. You are expected to develop and maintain a professional and good collaboration with our stakeholders, both on employee and management level throughout the company.
You are expected to convert a complex data landscape into business insights. Effective communication of data insights to case handling sites, management and other relevant stakeholders is an important element of the position. You will coordinate and conduct the root cause analysis and identify solutions to ensure high data quality.
Qualifications
You have a master’s degree of bioinformatics, human biology, bioengineering, medical/pharmaceutical science or similar and preferable 1-2 years of experience from pharmaceutical industry. You have a strong command of written and spoken English.
The role requires strong analytical skills, data science skills and quality orientation. Having programming experience in any language is a plus.
You have great project coordination capability and good stakeholder management skills.
You have excellent cooperation and communication skills and have the ability to drive your own responsibilities independently as well as being a team player working closely with your colleagues. You are a curious, organized and open-minded person with great sense of humour.
