Who we’re looking for
We are looking for a student assistant to support our electrochemistry lab. The position is approximately 15 hours per week, typically one full day and one half day.Who we’re looking forYour main task will be lab work, and tasks will include the following:
  • Slurry and electrode preparation in small scale
  • Coin cell assembly
  • Pouch cell filling and sealing
  • Disassembly of spent cells and sending e.g. electrode samples for analysis
  • Analysis of test results from electrochemistry and material characterization
  • Practical tasks in the lab, such as emptying trash, restocking consumables etc.

    Ideally you are in your last year of bachelor or starting master in the summer 2024 in chemical engineering, applied chemistry, physics or comparable subjects.What you’ll bringWe imagine that you have:
  • Familiarity with basic lab equipment and lab work.
  • An eye for detail and a strong commitment to produce high quality results in the lab.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to concisely report system improvements, deviations, etc.
  • A good understanding of safety procedures and the ability to contribute to a good safety culture.
  • Analytical thinking and the ability to solve problems and make decisions based on data and analysis.
  • Familiarity with basic lab equipment and lab work.An eye for detail and a strong commitment to produce high quality results in the lab.Strong communication skills and the ability to concisely report system improvements, deviations, etc.A good understanding of safety procedures and the ability to contribute to a good safety culture.Analytical thinking and the ability to solve problems and make decisions based on data and analysis.Prior knowledge of material characterization, electrochemistry and batteries will be a plus in this position, but explicit experience with batteries is not required. It is an advantage if you have an interest in working with Li-ion batteries, now an in the future. For the right candidate it will also likely be possible to do your masters project with us.
    We often speak Danish in everyday life, but the corporate language is English. Fluency in English is a requirement and fluency or proficiency in Danish is preferred.
