The positions
You will become part of our manufacturing area consisting of five production lines, which produce pre-clinical, clinical and commercial products for a wide variety of different customers coming from around the world. You will be part of a group of highly dedicated technicians and scientists working with various stakeholders such as QA, QC and Development.

As a technician within the upstream team, you plan and perform cell culture steps in the manufacturing process. Preparation of cell culture media, feed and other solutions used for the cell cultures is an important part of the work. Thaw and expansion of mammalian cells to be used as inoculum, set up, inoculation and maintaining single use bioreactors of up to 2000 liter scale (cultibags/Wave and SUBs) are examples of unit operations in the process that you will support.

Your responsibility will include preparation of production rooms and production systems before and after use as well as participate in qualification, maintenance, control and calibration of upstream process equipment.

Together with the team, you will be responsible for delivering cell culture supernatant for further processing by the downstream team and secure a high quality batch documentation in close collaboration with QC/QA.

Experience and competencies
The candidate we are looking for is a:

• Trained technician with hands-on experience preferably from mammalian cell culture.
• Have experience from working according to cGMP and follow written documents and SOPs.
• Experience with process optimization
• An interest in maintenance of equipment
• Excellent collaboration competencies.
• The ability to speak and write English.

As a person, you have a positive mind, are flexible and enjoys taking on new tasks and responsibilities. You thrive in a dynamic environment and can cope with uncertainties.

Our manufacturing teams are working in shifts during production so you must be able to work outside normal work hours.
