International School Ikast-Brande (ISIB) is currently looking for a teacher with experience of teaching Danish to students from year 1 to year 7 (indskoling og mellemtrin). Interviews will be arranged immediately as the leadership team would like to recruit as soon as possible, with the possibility to start in August 2019. The School
The International School Ikast-Brande is located in the Heart of Denmark. It has approximately 200 students on roll spread over the Primary and Secondary sections. Our students are highly motivated and extremely positive about our school. The school is committed to providing high quality international education to families moving to Denmark and students from the surrounding area seeking a more international education for their children. Our students come from many different countries and nationalities providing a rich and diverse school environment. We encourage our students to find the balance between Academic success and a well-rounded and balanced lifestyle. We instil in our students from a very early age the principles of right and wrong allowing them to make good decisions. This in turn has created a positive environment where very few disciplinary issues arise. Both staff and students look forward to coming into school and working together.

Salary Package
Salary is in accordance to the collective agreement and union contract entered between the Ministry of Finance and the Teachers Central Organisation.

Requirements
- Relevant and solid teaching experience
- The ability to deliver lessons to students with a variety of abilities and to differentiate their work
- Ability to collaborate with the Danish Second Language team
- Ability to multitask
- Solid classroom management experience
- Cultural sensitivity
- Ability to aspire students and to maintain positive relationships with them
