Job description
The successful candidate has a clinical background in neurorehabilitation, preferably a specialist in clinical neuropsychology and has solid research experience in neurorehabilitation and neuroscience. The candidate will develop an independent research program in the field of cognitive neurorehabilitation with a focus on fatigue following brain injury and family involvement in neurorehabilitation. Furthermore, the candidate will teach and develop courses related to cognitive neurorehabilitation as part of the professional Master in Neurorehabilitation. We seek to appoint an associate professor (10%) to conduct original and internationally competitive research within the area of fatigue following brain injury and family involvement in neurorehabilitation. The position furthermore involves a close collaboration/interaction with the Neurorehabilitation Research and Knowledge Center, Rigshospitalet-Glostrup, as a key element in the position is to bridge basic preclinical research with clinically-oriented research within neurorehabilitation. The candidate is expected as a key element of the position to promote a close interaction between the research sites.
The associate professor’s responsibilities will primarily consist of:

Terms of employment
The position is a fixed-term position limited to a period of 5 years.
The average weekly working hours are 3,7 hours per week.
Salary and other terms and conditions of appointment are set in accordance with the Agreement between the Ministry of Taxation and AC (Danish Confederation of Professional Associations) or other relevant professional organisations.
The position is covered by the Job Structure for Academic Staff at Universities 2020.

Required qualifications
