About OIS
Odense International School is composed of Primary 1-Primary 6 (ages 5-10) and Secondary 7-Secondary 11 (ages 11 and up to 16). We place a strong emphasis on primary-trained specialists for our younger classes. Of our student body of 180 students, at least 40 nationalities can be found. Our team is also made up of many talented and skilled teachers and specialists from all over the world.
Our curriculum is taught in English and is composed of maths, literacy, art, music & drama, coordinated science, physical education, Danish, French, German, history, global perspectives, and geography. In the final Key Stage, our students must take a minimum of 7 Cambridge IGCSE subjects over two years.
We believe in enquiry-based learning and active students whose learning needs, both socially and academically, are met by dedicated and professional staff.

We expect applicants to have a teaching certification and a work permit for Denmark. We always welcome receiving your curriculum vitae and look forward to hearing of your Cambridge teaching experience. - Teacher Certification (PGCE or other)
- English and humanities specialist
- Native speaker of English
- Teaching experience with students ages 11-16
- Experience with IGCSE, Cambridge International Assessment, MYP or IB
