We are seeking Ukrainian-speaking teacher(s)
Can you teach in the Ukranian language?
Do you want to be part of the team creating a vibrant learning environment for Ukrainian children
and youth that they can participate in when they have free time from Danish school?
Do you want to be their learning facilitator - both offline and online - and help build a
social learning network, where at the same time contact is made across municipal boundaries?
Then you should apply for the job with us and be ready to join latest by January 2023.
Your primary physical base will be in our premises in Ukrainehuset in Furesø.
Our online location is local, regional, national and global, which is why you can expect
to meet children and young people located in different parts of the country.
Users can participate offline and show up physically for the classes, just as they can
participate online. You must therefore want to complete the teaching as hybrid teaching.
You should apply for the job if you can and want to teach Ukrainian children and young people
• Ukrainian
◦ Maintain mother tongue
• Ukrainian history and cultural studies
The jobposition and Qualifications
• Physical premises located in Furesø
◦ As well as online teaching for students who cannot attend physically
• Time limited
◦ The position is temporary (expected to last thruout 2023 and part of 2024)
• Paid by the hour
◦ You are prepared to grow with the job, as your working-hours increases with the number
of students
• Working hours
◦ Expected 4-10 hours per week with increasing hours
◦ Primarily afternoons, early evenings and possibly weekend.
It might grow into earlier hours as well
• Language requirements
◦ Ukrainian (requirement)
◦ English (requirement)
◦ Danish (a plus, but not a requirement)
• You are required to be able to provide a børneattest/child certificate.
Other expectations: You must have experience in teaching, knowledge of the Ukrainian language,
as well as a general overview of the Ukrainian curriculum, so that you can contribute to your
students maintaining basic knowledge from their own national curriculum.
