EVP NCE Region NCE Pre-Assembly & Warehouse Management
The warehouse department consists of teams of Supervisors and Technicians supporting pre-assembly, commissioning, installation, improvement, service sites and warehouse. The team both develops and supply proficient and dedicated resources with the right mindset. The team co-ordinate and develop people and teams to support operational achievement and create a culture of safety, cost and quality.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities required as a Warehouse Lead Supervisor in the Warehouse Management team are:
- Support and work with identifying, validating and implementing improvement processes and best practices in warehouses at a Global level
- Report to the Head of Global Warehouses for Construction, Pre-Assembly and Commissioning, you will provide support in the daily planning and solving of issues and problems
- Developing and maintaining the warehouse set-up for Pre-Assembly, Commissioning, and Installation
- Identifying improvement areas that can benefit the entire value chain and ensuring implementation of new processes throughout the team
- Gatekeeping, reviewing and validating processes affecting warehouse before implementation
- Prioritising knowledge sharing within the team and systems connected to Vestas warehouses
- Train new Warehouse Supervisors and plan / set up Warehouses in collaboration together with the assigned Warehouse Supervisor
- In general, you will perform the role of a local support function in the site organisation by directing and bringing solutions. You will be a central point of contact if information or feedback is needed
Qualifications
- Have good English communication skills
- Good IT skills (SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SAP)
- Full driver's license and fork lift truck certificate
- NEBOSH or equivalent Safety management qualification
Competencies
We see the ideal candidate possessing the following competencies and personality:
- At least 5 years warehouse management/supervisory experience, ideally from either the renewables, energy, automotive, military or general warehousing sector
- Have knowledge of Lean Methodology and good problem-solving skills
- Stakeholder management skills, and ability to motivate and encourage colleagues to reach the agreed targets whilst keeping high safety standards
- You are customer-focused and have good process understanding and site management skills
- You have a solid continuous improvement mindset and can stay calm and keep the overview in busy periods
- Good financial management and performance assessments skills and reliable and adaptive
- Process focused but with a passion to question and change the current ways of working
- Current and Valid Passport enabling travel between countries with 150 days travel expected per year
- Capable of managing up to 30 direct reports
