Global Supply Chain Global Transport and Customs Transport Readiness
In the Transport Readiness department, you will join a highly motivated and professional team of 5 people. We are responsible for ensuring that Global Transport and Customs is ready to handle tomorrows logistics challenges. The department is placed in the Sales business unit with interface to and close collaboration with the entire Vestas value chain.

We are a very ambitious department striving to keep our leading position in the industry, and continuous improvement is part of our DNA. We see opportunities and move the roadblocks we encounter to ensure a solution.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning and forecasting of transport equipment globally
  • Drive continues improvement and cost out projects related to transport equipment
  • Take lead on defining and implementing a systematic and IT supported track & trace system for transport equipment
  • Be a great team-player and contribute to an environment where we all pull together in the same direction

Qualifications

  • A relevant theoretical background within supply chain, logistics or similar
  • 5+ years of experience from a supply chain function within production or an international logistics/transportation company
  • Experience in driving optimisation projects and stakeholder management
  • Excellent communications skills in spoken and written English
  • Good skills within the Microsoft Office package and SAP or another ERP system

  • Able to interact with stakeholders at all levels in- and outside the organisation

Additional information
Primary work location will be Aarhus, Denmark. You should expect approximately 10-20 annual travel days.
