Georg Jensen is looking for an analytical and self-driven Supply Chain Planner for Planning. Our current Supply Chain Planner is going on maternity leave and therefore, this is a 10-11 months’ cover for her. You will report to the Head of Supply Chain and be part of the Planning team with two highly competent Supply Chain Planners. The team is part of the Supply Chain department, consisting of Warehouse & Repair, Forecasting, Logistics, and Planning.

The role
You will be responsible for planning purchases according to the company’s need whilst adhering to budget and stakeholder requirements. This entails having the ability to create and manage master data while also managing individual SKU for item creation and creating purchases according to deadlines.
The criteria for success in this position will be the ability to deliver on-time for planned new and season launches and the ability to deliver inventory to two global warehouses.

You have 3-5 years of experience with Supply Planning and/or Inventory Management preferably within a similar industry or within FMCG.

Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Create and maintain purchase orders based on both demand forecasts, customer orders, stock levels, MOQs, and other planning parameters
- Operations Planning – plan what is produced and when it is delivered, in conjunction with forecasted demands from the sales organization
- Identify demand gaps and supply issues, and review stock targets
- Assist with the purchasing of POS and collateral according to business needs and market forecast
- Responsible for supply order schedule by balancing service level, delivery time, cost, and sustainability
- Ensure new Product Development is launched as per “launch-schedule”
- Identify and implement best practices in the Supply Chain Planning operations
- Upload and maintain the demand forecast(s) for your product group as the base for the supply planning process for your area of responsibility
Your Profile:
You have 3-5 years of experience with Supply Planning and/or Inventory Management preferably within a similar industry or within FMCG.
- The ability to take initiative
- Be result-driven
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaborative skills
- Great time management skills
- The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Business proficiency in English with strong communication skills
- Highly skilled MS Office user, especially Excel.
