Maersk is looking for a regional Platform Product Owner (PPO) to define and lead the Maersk B2B integration offer for our logistics & services in Asia.

You will work closely work with our customers and internal business and operation senior stakeholders to efficiently manage the demand and prioritize customer implementations, design and rollout technology integration solutions via EDI/API. As well as managing the pipeline the PPO will need to ensure the solutions delivered work towards achieving the right business outcome.

A successful candidate will be highly analytical, able to work extremely effectively in a matrix organization, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies, business models and capabilities into high quality, simple products that customers love.

Your responsibilities:

Your overall responsibility is to manage demand, pipeline and prioritize customer implementations working closely with business and engineering teams for customers within our supply chain management product family for our customers in Asia. You will be responsible for monitoring sales pipelines to ensure swift support with technical design, solutioning, costs, time validation for opportunities at different stages of the sales pipeline.

This you will do through:

  • Lead Asia tender activities for integration requirements, ensuring that we quote and offer the customers the right solutions.
  • Work directly with customers, sales and operations colleagues and manage customer integration pipelines and requirements and ensure consistent review of prioritizations which are in line with commercial expectations.
  • Liaise with Maersk business product stakeholders and other integration product owners to provide customer insights and requirements to expand the integration products.
  • Manage prioritization and trade-offs between customer experience, business requirements, technical limitations, performance and operations.
  • Write user stories and own and prioritize the scrum team backlog and ensure consistent review of prioritizations to deliver maximum value to our customers.
  • Active engagement with customer program management and function product owners to seek for process improvements and optimization, making sure we deliver a solution that satisfies Maersk customers and improve customer experience.
  • Support delivery scrum teams to test and certify the solutions you own by design.
  • Work with assigned engineer and regional tech implementation team, to understand capacity and pipeline, to better prepare possible scenarios with customers, regarding delivery dates and acceptance criteria.
  • Educate and facilitate Regional B2B integration capability building cross global business, sales, customer service teams to enable the best possible customer pursuit and onboarding via Maersk direct integration solutions.

We are looking for

  • Minimum 5 years’ solid experience in supply chain industry EDI/API Integrations space, business analysis, business support, customer IT solution implementation and onboarding
  • Good understanding of Logistics and Services processes including supply chain and warehouse management
  • Demonstrate a combination of an effective business acumen, strong stakeholder management skills and tech savvy
  • Customer centricity and ability to understand complex problems / customer scopes and link it to draft solutions and set of requirements
  • IT solution or operational background within supply chain management/warehousing is an advantage
  • Delivery focused with excellent attention to detail and drive to resolve issues.
  • Interpersonal skills and capability to deal diplomatically in conflicting interest situations.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills by using sound judgements to make timely and effective decisions.
  • Experience of Agile scrum methodology, PSPO is desirable.
  • Well organized and independent to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Able and willing to travel based on business requirements, 2-3 weeks per year.
  • Fluent Chinese and English in both written and oral.
