Then you are a candidate for our open position in the department Supply Chain Optimisation in Clinical Supplies.

As our new Flow Partner, you will be responsible for identifying process optimisations, knowing the supply chain in Clinical Supplies (CS) in depth and representing CS to our stakeholders in Novo Nordisk.

The department

Before drug is approved for market use, drug candidates are tested in clinical trials. CS is responsible for delivering drugs for Novo Nordisk’s clinical trials around the world. Our tasks range from receival of the clinical protocol to final delivery of clinical product at site, which includes planning, filling, labelling, packaging and shipping of product.

Supply Chain Optimisation is a department of 12 colleagues, who work across CS and with direct link to CS Management. Our role is to carry out strategic projects optimising the clinical supply chain. Our way of working is informal and ambitious at the same time. We work in close cooperation with Line of Business.

We are responsible for optimisation of the clinical supply chain, and our focus is lead time reduction and productivity and agility improvements. Many of our current projects are within automation and digitalisation and our ambition is to become fully digitalised.

The position

We need you to get in-depth understanding of our processes, their lead time and how they are linked across the clinical supply chain.

The position is composed of different elements such as being responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements with the aim of reducing lead time, increasing agility and improving productivity and

ownership of the overview of process flows and their lead times in Clinical Supplies.

As specialist, you will work very independently, but with involvement of colleagues in Clinical Supplies at all levels including CS Management, CS team leaders as well as colleagues in the department. You will be a resource for colleagues with less experience and may direct work to less experienced colleagues. You will be involved in teaching new colleagues and stakeholders the processes in Clinical Supplies.

You will get a unique possibility to influence our approach to process improvements in CS. In projects with external vendors you will direct and challenge our vendors.

Qualifications

You hold a master degree in business, engineering, economics or similar and have +10 years of solid experience working with LEAN and optimisation of business processes. You have documented results within these areas including successful change management.

You have a solid LEAN foundation that you apply in your work, and the tools in the LEAN tool box are basic knowledge for you.

On a personal level you are curious and puzzled by processes that seem too complicated.

You thrive from identifying this and improving it. You have excellent communication skills both inworking relations and as a presenter. You have a proven ability to inspire and motivate others.

We expect that you deliver high quality, keep calm and focused under pressure and keep deadlines. You are fluent in Danish and English both written and spoken.

It is a prerequisite that you have supply chain experience and preferably understanding of regulatory requirements.
