Are you newly educated or have a few years of experience within procurement, and do you want to impact and set direction for how we do procurement in Novo Nordisk? Do you have project management experience, that you can utilize when driving procurement projects? Do you enjoy establishing strong stakeholder relations with senior management? If yes, you could be our new Associate Category Manager.

We are looking for an ambitious person to take up the role as Associate Category Manager in Marketing and Meetings & Events in Corporate Procurement in Novo Nordisk. About the function
Corporate Procurement is responsible for the indirect spend in Novo Nordisk and for defining and driving the global procurement strategy. Corporate Procurement consists of 140 employees based in Denmark and India, and globally 500 people work in procurement. Corporate Procurement is anchored with direct report to the CFO of Novo Nordisk.

The position
As Associate Category Manager in Marketing and Meetings & Events, you will ensure that sourcing and procurement in Novo Nordisk’s commercial area is done in a compliant and cost-effective manner. Examples of spend are Advertising & Creative, Market Research and Digital Marketing.

You will perform classical sourcing and contract management, while driving larger strategic projects. You will assess opportunities in different categories and globally with relevant stakeholders.

You will work fact-based with quantitative data while knowing when an estimate is enough, communicate clearly when collaborating with senior stakeholders and uphold high professional standards in deliverables. Key capabilities in the job are sourcing knowledge combined with project management toolbox.

You will help develop the Marketing and Meetings & Events team and Corporate Procurement e.g. utilizing digitalization in the sourcing process. You will join a team of 10 highly skillful and ambitious people. We value a good atmosphere, close collaboration and continuous personal development.

Qualifications
You have completed a master's degree in economics, business administration, supply chain management or similar with a top-level GPA. Preferably, you have a few years of experience from working with procurement and strategy, project management and/or business development. However, this could be your first job, if you have a strong wish to develop and learn procurement and project management.

You have an international mindset, work analytically, communicate clearly as well as concisely and would find it exciting to give presentations to senior management. Finally, you work fluently in English.
