Master Planner

We are looking for a Master Planner to strengthen our Sales and Operations Planning team located at our manufacturing site in Emmaboda.

As a Master Planner you will be responsible for supply planning process and identifying realistic supply capacity. You will be analyzing demand and supply gap and its impact on operational KPIs and Financial performance.

In this role you will work across a number of departments that involve several of internal stakeholders. You will be the focal point towards the S&OP supply planning meetings to build proposals for supply planning together with Production, Integrated Planning and Inventory Management. You will also represent Operations department in demand-supply-failure situation, facilitating issue resolution process in Operations and communicating closely with demand planning.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse raw capacity based on historical capacity, total capacity of machining & assembly and supplier capacity
• Identify gaps between demand planning and supply capacity, including inventory condition, supplier issues and bottlenecks in production
• Facilitate demand & supply gap impact analysis on service, cost, inventory and P&L with Production, External Supply Planning, Inventory Management and Finance
• Build supply planning proposal including capacity, material and inventory with KPI impact and scenarios
• Lead S&OP supply planning meetings at Emmaboda site
• Monitor supply plan and analyze root-cause of discrepancy to improve supply planning process
• Manage supply planning performance, such as planning accuracy and target lead time adherence
• Facilitate communication between demand and supply planning as a single point of contact
• Administration of new products/components in the system

Qualifications:

• 5 years working experience in Supply Chain
• Academic degree in logistic or similar
• Fluent in English both spoken and written
• Solid knowledge in Excel and other MS office packages
• Strong analytical skills
• Production planning, demand planning or scheduling experience is a plus
• S&OP process experience is advantageous
