You now have the opportunity to further your career by joining an agile team of experienced and highly skilled electrical engineers who are currently involved in EPC contracts for offshore substation projects in Europe, Asia and the USA. You will have a high degree of international exposure and responsibility.
To be on the cutting edge of the market, we are continuously focusing on a high level of expertise and on providing our customers with technical solutions that are second to none. At Semco Maritime, you are more than just your role and two days are rarely the same.
The electrical power team is part of our Offshore Wind division, which has constructed one of the largest project portfolios within offshore substations in Northern Europe.
You can choose to work from our Ballerup office in the Copenhagen area or from our Esbjerg office, whichever is most convenient for you.
Areas of responsibility:
Willingness to travel approximately 30 to 45 days a year is required. During construction and installation, you may have to work from one of our construction sites for a period of 4 to 8 months. You may also have to follow projects for offshore installation.
Your profile
We expect you to be an experienced electrician, AP graduate in service engineering or marine engineer with a background in electrical systems. You have 5 to 6 years of practical hands-on experience with electrical installations, probably gained through working as an electrician.
It would be an advantage if you had similar scope of work experience from substations in general, power plants or offshore oil & gas projects and therefore knowledge of industry design standards.
Your approach and attitude is as important as your background. You have a positive mindset, are proactive and you set high personal standards for your work. In addition, you are a team player and eager to share knowledge with your stakeholders.
Effective communication skills in English are required.
Interested?
Please do not hesitate to contact Simon Barclay, HR Business Partner, at +45 5056 5192 or Andreas Kjærnø, Manager, LV Power, Offshore Wind, at +45 5077 2541 if you have any further questions.
We will interview candidates on an ongoing basis, so please do not hesitate to email your application, CV and diplomas as quickly as possible. Any application or contact to Semco Maritime will be handled confidentially.
