At Semco Maritime you will join an experienced, highly skilled and passionate team in our Renewables division who have been responsible for creating one of the largest project portfolios within offshore substations. Our Renewables division carry out activities on a global scale.
Your responsibilities and tasks
As our new Senior Layout Engineer, you will be involved in both engineering studies, tenders and greenfield EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation) contracts for offshore substation projects.
Your role will be to lead and secure the best optimised layout design for offshore substations by coordination equipment and design input from all the system engineers in a close cooperation with our experienced 3D drafters and our structural design partners.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
Your qualifications and skills
We expect you to have a degree in mechanical engineering, marine engineering or similar. Furthermore, you must have good technical leading and coordination skills as well as knowledge in 3D-modelling. Previous experience with EPC project execution and experience in the offshore industry is preferred.

- Coordinating details with the team regarding project execution
- Managing the overall Layout System scope in cooperation with stakeholders
- Being responsible for the Layout System costs including supports, starters, and transits
- Participating in concept development and optimization of technical solutions
- Administrative work related to execution and project hours related to the Layout System
Your qualifications and skills
We expect you to have a degree in mechanical engineering, marine engineering or similar. Furthermore, you must have good technical leading and coordination skills as well as knowledge in 3D-modelling. Previous experience with EPC project execution and experience in the offshore industry is preferred.
