Join our global Wind team and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Your new role</strong></p><p>As our new Senior Engineer within Primary Steel Design, you will deliver load-bearing steelwork packages for Concept Design, Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and Detailed Designs for large offshore wind turbine foundation structures. You will take on responsibility for your own design deliverables applying an analytical approach and structural understanding to create innovative solutions – with the aim of further shaping and enhancing our service delivery.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Your key responsibilities</strong></p><p>As part of a multidisciplinary project team, you will work on international projects of varied complexity and scale, taking on diverse tasks and responsibilities such as:</p><ul><li>With a focus on large steel foundation structures for offshore wind turbines, deliver primary steel design work packages in close collaboration with an in-house team of geotechnical, metocean, secondary steel, finite element and load specialists</li><li>Manage works by primary steel project engineers in collaboration with the project management team and other relevant discipline teams to deliver high-quality design and documentation, using the latest state-of-the-art design methodologies that enable successful third-party certification, while maintaining focus on fabrication-friendliness and efficient follow-up during the fabrication and installation phases</li><li>Manage the entire load-structural workflow, ranging from definition of the relevant load simulations to the integrated aero-hydrodynamic simulations using in-house computation tools, resulting in derivation of the final design loads subsequently used for optimized foundation design</li><li>Prepare and present design methods, findings and results at client- and certifying agent meetings during both the design and certification phases</li><li>Generally, contribute to Ramboll’s technical development in the field of primary steel design</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Your new team</strong></p><p>You will be part of our global Offshore Wind Engineering team working on wind farm developments worldwide. Based in one of our flagship Denmark offices (Esbjerg or Aarhus), you will join an established and vibrant team of highly talented and engaged engineers at the forefront of innovative and complex steel design techniques for Monopile and Jacket structures. You will collaborate with local and international colleagues and play a critical role in defining and delivering projects, creating innovative solutions, and shaping and enhancing our service delivery.</p><p> </p><p><strong>About you </strong></p><p>From the moment you start at Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you can continue to grow with the company.
