The Job
CBC is recruiting Marketing tutors 01/01/2023, or earlier, to teach undergraduate modules on the DMU Programmes.

Job Profile
The tutor may cover a variety of modules within Marketing:

Examples of modules are:

  • Principles of Marketing

We envision the successful candidate to have a good understanding of a wide range of theoretical perspectives in marketing and an insight into empirically supported “real world” models. Modules are taught according to a fixed schedule and will generally be placed in the timespan Monday-Friday 8:00-17:00. However, some modules are taught in the evening until 20:30.

In addition to lecturing, general tutor functions also include marking, tutorial sessions, participation in relevant meetings as well as general communication with CBC/ De Montfort University students, colleagues, and management. Strong communications skills are imperative.

Employment

  • Administering courses in a hybrid online/onsite format
  • The desire to develop and test online course materials
  • Danish work and residence permits
  • A talent for cultural understanding and working cooperatively with a diverse group of colleagues and students from not only Europe and Asia but from all over the world.

About you

You are an aspiring or experienced tutor who genuinely enjoys interacting with adult international students. In addition to excellent communicative skills, you have a keen eye for details and deadlines as well as a natural focus on continuous improvement. As a colleague you are team-oriented and helpful with a keen interest in knowledge-sharing.
