At Scandinavian Tobacco Group we are looking to strengthen our Commercial Excellence team with an experienced International Marketing Excellence Manager with strong hands-on skills. If you have several years of experience in leading FMCG companies and you thrive in a fast-paced Agile environment, then we want to meet you!
In Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG), we are committed to develop strong, long term strategies and to execute across our diverse markets and categories. To support this, we have recently changed our operating model and are building a solid setup that allows for fast, data-driven decision making where the departmental competencies are leveraged.
As an International Marketing Excellence Manager, you will challenge and leverage performance through commercial best practices and establishing key frameworks and programs to constantly improve.

Driving commercial strategic direction
As the International Marketing Excellence Manager, you will drive the commercial strategic direction for the markets, owning the commercial plan process, ensuring clear plans are built and are connected to the divisional strategy.
Besides owning the commercial planning process, driving the commercial strategic direction and ensuring clear plans are built, you will:
Data-driven commercial profile with excellent networking genes
The ideal candidate would be a clear communicator with a data-driven and consumer centric mindset and has a clear understanding of the internal and external environment, drivers, enablers and challenges.

Driving commercial strategic direction
As the International Marketing Excellence Manager, you will drive the commercial strategic direction for the markets, owning the commercial plan process, ensuring clear plans are built and are connected to the divisional strategy.
Besides owning the commercial planning process, driving the commercial strategic direction and ensuring clear plans are built, you will:
- ensure setting of the right strategic KPIs within the commercial plan and safeguard that market commercial decisions are on strategy and in-line with market and category roles
- do commercial plan follow-up and KPI tracking, anticipate new business opportunities and necessary adjustments to current strategy
- lead creation of market portfolio and support pricing strategies in order to deliver on market commercial objectives, including optimal future portfolio and price positionings
- own the creation and implementation of Marketing Excellence frameworks/toolkits – i.e. priority ranging, plain packaging/dark market, simplification
- work in collaboration with other teams to develop and manage the commercial mix of portfolio, price, place and promotion.

Moreover you:
- have a commercial mindset
- have a clear understanding of the internal and external environment, drivers, enablers and challenges
- have an open and honest cross-functional collaboration, team player: set proper communication channels and leverage on “together we are better”
- seek and share direct feedback and ask the same
- motivate and trust in everyone doing their outmost to succeed
- have experience and ability to prioritize what is important and has a high impact
- drive the change, think strategic and challenge the status quo.
- manage expectations: follow through on actions, promises and assignments
- have +8 years of commercial/marketing experience is expected to be needed to be successful in the role.

- Business strategy
- Marketing experience
- Strong communication
- Project management
- Data analysis
- Digital marketing (B2B)
