The EMEA Integrated Marketing Planning Manager (EMEA Marketing IPP lead) will lead, plan & setup marketing planning milestones and manage interlock meetings with inclusion of all required stakeholders towards high-quality half year EMEA PORs (plan of record) and various business readiness reviews.

He/she will play key role to drive Marketing LT alignment in planning process & tools to optimize the workload, support building relevant plan with most optimal investment of our EMEA marketing budget, while the business and marketing priorities are met.

He /she will also act as key POC for International/Global Marketing Operations, Planning and BU teams, representing EMEA to build the right structure for IPP & related planning/readiness and execution reviews cadence incl. relevant content, data quality & tools (e.g. taxonomy updates, reviews content alignment, definitions).

Key responsibility is to drive and evolve the EMEA IPP (Integrated planning process) which includes

  • Efficient planning cadence/ key milestones while respecting the other related timelines.
  • Define clear deliverables & objectives for each milestone.
  • Engage and interact with all stakeholders within EMEA involved into the EMEA marketing planning process to ensure smooth planning towards one holistic, consolidated integrated marketing plan, the EMEA POR.
  • Ensure the relevant budget analytics tool(s) are relevant and ready on time to support the planning cycle.

The EMEA Integrated Marketing Planning Manager is managing regular interlock meetings

  • To engage with the EMEA Central and regional integrated planning leads to ensure the IPP milestones are on time and in quality.
  • Communicates guidance, planning/campaign taxonomy and drives consistency and data quality.
  • Ensures relevant teams (e.g. Partner Marketing planning leads) support and drive the quality planning & execution
  • Collaborates with EMEA Budget team to ensure the POR is executed and budget utilized during the execution phase as planned in the POR.

Executive PORs, QBRs and various ad-hoc reviews ownership

  • The EMEA Integrated Marketing Planning Manager oversees and drives the various executive reviews preparation and ensures all relevant EMEA central and regional leads/owners of the respective areas of EMEA marketing deliver the required content.
  • Works closely and supports the EMEA VP of Marketing to deliver quality exec reviews.


Essential Requirement

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English, advanced MS Excel skills
  • Negotiation and influencing skills with executive management
  • Experience in EMEA-wide / global role advantage
  • Strong E2E thinking, simplification & automation mindset, BPI / process design skill
  • Dell marketing operations & activities knowledge, solid understanding of our various planning elements/ teams beyond EMEA marketing)
  • Budget planning and management tools knowledge i.e. Allocadia
  • Thorough understanding of our marcom Opex and Vendor Funding planning rules
  • Capture requirements from the business and suggest improvements in order to optimize the planning cycle
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong time & project management skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in marketing and/or program management

• Bachelors’ degree
