The position
Do you have a high drive and want experience with working in a global finance function? Do you want to be financial responsible for Global Marketing, Partner Markets & China?
You will be working close to management and you are characterized by being proactive, analytical and you are in position of a good business understanding.
The tasks and responsibilities will range from daily finance tasks, monthly reporting, coordination of budgets as finance business partner for Global Marketing, Partner Markets & China. Involvement in international project, financial auditing and negotiation of new contract with partners.
You will be part of the team which supports management with financial analysis, Markets insights and will play a key role in supporting the area.
You will report to the director of Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis and will be in close contact with finance business partners in headquarters and our affiliates. You will be in contact with and respond to financial questions from stakeholders at different levels in the company.
The challenges are many and you will play a key role in optimizing and challenge the financial processes, look into financial risk analysis in volatile markets, in addition to supporting planning and reporting in a global function.

Our Finance department consists of 10 passionate colleagues in Denmark and in total 100 finance colleagues around the world. We always try to develop our competences and processes in order to the meet the needs of the patients and all stakeholders, internally as well as externally. The position is located at the ALK headquarter in Hørsholm.

Fields of responsibility
- Finance business partnering/support to Global Marketing, Partner Markets & China
- Challenge the value and cost drivers to drive growth and profitability
- Plan, drive and consolidate budget, outlook and forecast processes
- Monitor financial performance (incl. outcome in partnerships)
- Drive and support the optimization of financial processes and the implementation of systems in new markets
- Provide ad hoc analysis and insight on specific issues
Your qualifications
- Master’s degree in Finance or Business administration
- 5-10 years in Finance, at least 3 years as Business Controller / Finance Business Partner
- Structured and analytical working style and attention to details and accuracy
- Proactivity and curiosity towards the business
- Result-driven, ambitious and takes responsibility
- Flexible and well organized with the ability to work with strong focus and overview
- A team player with good communication skills and fluent in English
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office package and experience with SAP is an advantage
