This role combines influencer and press PR with organic social media strategy, hands-on content creation, and community engagement to drive brand awareness and grow a loyal community.

At , we are looking for a creative, dynamic and strategic PR & Social Media Manager to join our brand marketing team. This role combines influencer and press PR with organic social media strategy, hands-on content creation, and community engagement to drive brand awareness and grow a loyal community.
Are you an experienced yet hands-on PR and Social Media professional with established European press and influencer connections, particularly in Germany, France, Denmark, and the UK, who can bring these valuable relationships to the role? Key Responsibilities:
PR & Influencer Relations (40%)
- Develop and execute a PR strategy to enhance brand visibility in lifestyle, parenting and children’s media outlets (online and print).
- Cultivate relationships with key journalists, editors, and media contacts in the children’s lifestyle sector, particularly in Germany, France, Denmark, and the UK.
- Leverage your existing network of press and influencers in Europe to drive brand awareness and secure impactful collaborations.
- Identify, engage, and collaborate with influencers (micro and macro) to promote our products and brand story authentically.
- Manage influencer partnerships from initial outreach to campaign execution and performance tracking
- Own and coordinate all influencer gifting efforts, including order tracking and follow up.
- Own and manage our affiliate marketing programme, set the focus and strategy towards Affiliate agency partners.
- Create and distribute press releases, media kits, and brand assets that align with our brand vision and objectives.
- Secure press coverage in relevant media channels through storytelling and outreach efforts.
Organic Social Media Strategy & Content Creation (40%)
- Develop a comprehensive organic social media content calendar aligned with brand objectives, seasonal campaigns, and community interests.
- Create and post engaging, on-brand organic content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest, including photos, graphics, videos, and copy.
- Collaborate with creative and marketing stakeholders to ensure social content is on-brand and visually aligned with overarching content strategy and brand image.
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends, algorithm changes, and parenting community discussions to ensure relevant, impactful content.
- Collaborate with our creative team on photo and video shoots to capture meaningful, high-quality content that resonates with our audience.
- Manage all organic social media platforms, responding to comments and messages in a timely manner, ensuring a consistent brand voice.
- Analyze organic social media performance, using insights to optimize content and engagement strategies.
- Collaborate cross-team to ensure synergy between organic social and paid marketing channels.
- Limited occasional support of paid social content creation where needed.
Community Engagement & Brand Building (20%)
- Foster a vibrant, engaged online community of parents, caregivers, and influencers who love and advocate for our brand.
- Organize virtual and in-person events for both press, influencers and customers (e.g., family-friendly brand activations, press days, influencer playdates, SoMe giveaways) to create meaningful connections with our audience.
- Work with customer service to ensure social media interactions and inquiries are handled with care, building trust and loyalty.
- Collaborate on seasonal and product-focused campaigns that build excitement and increase engagement across all platforms.
Objectives for the Role:
- Increase brand awareness through strategic press placements, influencer partnerships, and creative social media campaigns.
- Build and nurture an active and engaged community of parents who share their love for our products and brand ethos.
- Create and deliver content that inspires, educates, and resonates with our target audience, driving brand loyalty and repeat engagement.
- Grow our social media following, focusing on authentic interactions and building long-term relationships with customers.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in PR, influencer marketing, and organic social media management, within the lifestyle sector or similar.
- Established relationships with key press and influencers in Europe, particularly in Germany, France, Denmark, and the UK.
- Proven track record of securing press coverage and managing successful influencer campaigns.
- Strong content creation skills, with experience in graphics, photo and video production for social media perferred.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with an eye for detail and a creative mindset.
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, analytics tools, and trends.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small, passionate team.
- Passion for family, children’s products, and creating experiences that delight both parents and kids.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with paid social media campaigns (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads)
- Familiarity with community management tools
- Existing connections within the parenting and lifestyle press and influencer community in additional European markets.
