In this newly established role, you will be a part of the transformation of the company, supporting the SVP of Marketing, GBU Moments & Collaborations in leading a transformation journey.
You will be responsible for defining the Moments Collection’s growth masterplan with a strong focus on brand building and innovation, based on customer insights and aligned with the overall category strategy and roadmap – including commercial performance, e.g. like-for-like and GM cross-margin targets.

Your role
You will lead the development of the Moments Collection. Key milestones will be within the following areas:

  • To get back to sustainable growth the Moments Collection and the overall Charms & Bracelets category by making it relevant and meaningful again for both existing, lapsed and new customers
  • To define an innovation path for charms rooted in consumer and commercial insights
  • To identify white spaces for Moments with the objective to increase both acquisition and frequency of usage
  • To lead the Engraving cross-GBUs’ omni-channel project and roadmap for the company

In collaboration with the rest of the GBU team and overall marketing team, the new Director will ensure that the brand approach is aligned with Pandora’s strategy and overall planning in order to secure consistency in brand quality and recognition globally and across channels.


Key responsibilities


  • Set the direction for the Moments Collection and Charms category, generating new ideas while identifying size of the prize and elaborating roadmaps and growth strategies, including source of volumes, pricing, distribution strategy, conceptualization of innovation pipeline
  • Gather insights from countries, merchandising and consumer/competitive research, define a roadmap to growth and brief the product design team working in close collaboration with them
  • Create hero strategy programs to ensure best sellers’ sustainable growth
  • Monitor the global performance of the business measuring corrective actions short/medium and longer term
  • Design the support model for his/her product portfolio (for the director), being ultimately responsible for the brief creation and timely delivery of all 360 toolboxes (Advertising assets, digital, social media, PR, retail marketing etc…) needed to support the Moments collection and innovations in the markets, leading the cross-functional teams effort



What is needed to succeed


  • Minimum 10 years’ best-in-class consumer-centric experience from similar roles
  • Global Experience required – Experience from global environments within industries of both functional and emotional needs (e.g. FMCG, Beauty, Luxury). Experience from HQ-based roles is a must, with ideally also some experience at a local or regional level. CV needs to feature diversity in the roles and / or the product categories
  • Knowledge of the China market is a clear plus
  • Brand builder passionate with a solid marketing toolbox and a strong focus on consumer centricity, brand building, transformation and innovation
  • Business Acumen – Highly commercially-minded marketer with a deep understanding of the market. Ability to manage and strengthen a product portfolio
  • Stakeholder Management – Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to interact at all levels of an organization as well as across functions
  • Postgraduate diploma in a relevant field (Business Administration, Marketing or Economics)
