What’s the opportunity?

We are looking for a forward thinking, modern marketing professional who will help us build and strengthen the Saxo brand, connect with potential and existing customers and drive key strategic initiatives that link commercial strategy with impactful, differentiated creative execution.

In this global role based out of our HQ in Copenhagen, you will be reporting directly to the Global Head of Strategy and Planning and working closely with an in-house creative agency team as well as the wider Saxo Experience organisation. You will have passion for creating insight-led marketing strategies and campaigns, entrepreneurial mindset and an obsession to drive outcomes with impactful work in a complex global organisation.

In this role you will…

  • Lead plans and strategies that drive our marketing efforts across the funnel – from the top (acquisition) through to the bottom (loyalty, retention and expansion) – dictating core methods of achieving the company’s goals while building the Saxo brand
  • Build insight-led creative briefs for new and existing products that inform the direction of our marketing activities by collaborating with our commercial teams and in-house brand & design team
  • Identify core customer segments and lead target marketing activities to appeal to them
  • Work closely with the Insights Team and our in-team Senior Analyst on identifying important macro and micro trends impacting the customer decision making journey
  • Collaborate with local marketing teams on developing marketing plans and integrate them into a coherent global picture
  • Help define and drive integration of our brand strategy across our organisation
  • Be a strategic thought leader for the creative team members and marketing colleagues
  • Establish and influence processes and ways of working to help optimise organisational efficiency as well as brand and marketing consistency

Potential opportunities for role development:

  • To lead global marketing strategy for the already (commercially) well-established Institutional Business
  • To lead other segment strategy and execution – for example women in investing

What you will bring…

  • Senior marketer experience with customer centricity and impactful delivery
  • Proven track record in delivering creative strategy and inspiring briefs (agency strategist experience preferred)
  • Solid understanding of brand building strategies together with a strong business acumen to evaluate and prioritize most impactful projects and deliveries
  • Project management, strong attention to detail and planning skills to lead execution of the marketing strategy, providing a logical progression from campaign creation to completion
  • International experience or working in a global or regional role is a plus

Industry experience would be an advantage but is not essential if you are curious about financial services and driven to learn more
