The Marketing Activation Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing plans and activities for QuickFix, WaterSystems and Kitchen retail and product categories related to those areas. Actively supports sales in achieving the annual plan objectives (turnover, margin, market share) for assigned channels.
You will report directly to the Marketing Leader and work both strategically and operationally with marketing plans, product launches and campaign plans that balance the company's needs for long-term brand building and short-term sales results. You will have a very central and important role in the Danish and Icelandic sales team and work closely together with them to achieve our common targets. Furthermore, you will work with the marketing teams across the Nordic region as well as our Head Office in Düsseldorf.
Your primary tasks:
Activation and campaigns:
You will be responsible for activation of campaigns that are related to our Sales Cycles and local campaign initiatives, both in relation to ATL & BTL
- Ensure our marketing and sales KPI´s are achieved
- Plan and execution of our Head Office campaigns to ensure the greatest possible effect, visibility and ROI
- Make sure that materials/toolbox from our Head Office is used and implemented on a local level to ensure optimal execution.
- Follow-up on activations and ensure future improvement opportunities
POS and shop visibility:
You will be responsible for strategic development, production and the roll out of display solutions, POS materials and secondary placement and pallet solutions
- Basic POS kit for shops
- Define needed material for each activation and ensure display development
Content creation
Create Content packages to ensure that marketing plans and activities are communicated to the relevant stakeholders, so that activities are rolled out and set objectives are achieved.
- Responsible for product launches by ensuring relevant support material is available to relevant channels
Responsible for content creation that is related to Social Media, GCP platform, materials for sales, newsletters, customers, GROHE X etc.
Fairs, events and partnerships:
Responsible for developing, implementing, executing and evaluating fairs and events that are in line with our commercial strategy.
- Define potential commercial partnerships and ensure joint activation.
Market knowledge
Secure regular visits to stores/showrooms and to attend customer meetings, so you always know the new trends and opportunities in the market.
Your qualifications and personal characteristics:
The ideal candidate comes with previous experience from a similar role within Marketing (minimum 3 years). Moreover, you must possess a drive for success and a hunger for showing great results. You will get a high level of independency and therefore you need to be self-disciplined as well as proactive. Being flexible whilst maintaining a team player-spirit, good Danish and English communication skills and strong analytical competencies are necessary to succeed in the role and achieve the ambitious targets that have been set for the Marketing team. You keep yourselves updated on market trends and market potential.
Background from FMCG or DIY is perceived as a strong benefit and knowledge’s within space and category management. It is a benefit to have a creative mindset and are able to handle several tasks at the same time. You should see the opportunities and not the limits – think input and output.
