Become a part of our Product Portfolio Management team
Kamstrup is a Danish technology company and a world-leading supplier of intelligent metering solutions and services. Kamstrup’s business is undergoing rapid development, which means that the demand for our smart metering solutions targeting the electricity industry is growing. Therefore, we are looking for a Commercial Product Manager to be part of our Product Portfolio Management team in our Electricity division.
With direct reference to our Head of Product Portfolio Management, you will become part of a team of 6 highly skilled colleagues who work every day to bring smart metering solutions and services to our markets. The team consists of many backgrounds ranging from highly technical profiles to profiles with a commercial and strategic focus and background. This diversity in background helps us achieve a high level of quality and development in our work, which is something we value highly in our department.
A job with focus on joining commercial and technical knowledge
As our new Commercial Product Manager, you will execute our business strategy initiatives within our product portfolio. You will be responsible for managing commercial aspects within a defined part of the product portfolio including managing the market launch plans. You will be working closely with many different functions and competencies internally in the organization, including Sales, Solution and Service Delivery, Technology, and Marketing, where you will be bridging the gap between commercial interests, technical capabilities, and customer needs.
More specific, you will be responsible for:

Personality matters
We are looking for an ambitious Commercial Product Manager who is passionate about delivering winning and value-adding solutions. There are many entry points to this position, but we imagine that you have a master’s degree within Business, Economics, Political Science, or similar, which has given you a great commercial understanding. You might have experience from a similar position within project management and/or portfolio management which has given you a range of commercial tools, however, limited experience and a willingness to learn about the field of commercial product management can also be your entry into this position.
As a person, you are an effective communicator which combines excellently with your ability to establish and maintain close relationships when you have to clearly translate complex technical information to both customers and colleagues. You are driven by creating change and your analytical approach to tasks helps you see valuable solutions which helps you achieve your goals. Collaboration and cross-organizational work are second nature to you, and you have a keen interest in learning about the different aspects of the business and the different ways of working.
You are fluent in English both written and spoken. Danish will be an asset.
