The position

As Global Customer Insights Anchor, you will serve as a cornerstone of the Customer Insights function and play a critical role in ensuring that Novo Nordisk maintains best-in-class market research capabilities and adheres to compliance. You will lead excellence, innovation, and optimization of key processes within customer insights and market research processes across the value chain.

The Customer Insights function drives market research for Business Development opportunities and across the product lifecycle from early pipeline to in-market products e.g. preference share market research, key message testing, drivers and barriers market research etc.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Lead innovation and challenge ways of doing things in the Customer Insights function
  • Drive alignment and consistency of Customer Insights standard market research deliverables across therapy areas and across Headquarters and Global Business Services (Bangalore). In addition, drive review and updates to the organizational market research guidance across product Life Cycle Management
  • Lead Pharmacovigilance audits and inspections in Commercial Strategy & Corporate Affairs for market research
  • Ensure compliance and organisational guidance and training in market research requirements and essential documentation
  • Maintenance of Customer Insights supporting documents site, i.e. updating guidance whenever there are updates to regulatory, safety, or compliance requirements
  • Consolidation of Market Research plan across all units and communication to markets (twice yearly)
  • Lead a couple of market research projects to ensure deep understanding of processes and deliverables

Qualifications

To thrive and succeed, we expect you to have:

  • Master’s degree in business, economics, social sciences, or similar
  • +8 years of experience working with market research, quality, compliance, or process optimisation
  • Fluency in written and spoken English with strong communication capabilities

Moreover, you have solid project and stakeholder management skills in a cross-functional setting, including the ability to influence others. You come with a proven capability in delivering results under pressure and within tight and moving deadlines. We expect that you strive for excellence and that you thrive in a dynamic and international environment and that you have a ‘can-do’ attitude.

It is an advantage to have:

  • Solid experience from market research in the pharmaceutical industry or from market research agencies or management consulting firms with a focus on the pharmaceutical industry.

About department

The Customer Insights function is spread out across different commercial therapy area units (Diabetes, Obesity, Rare Diseases and Other Serious Chronic Diseases), however the functional Anchor role will be anchored in Other Serious Chronic Disease (OSCD) Insights & Forecasting, a department within the Commercial OSCD unit.

The OSCD Insights & Forecasting team is responsible for bringing patient- and HCP-level insights into core decisions for strategic brands, patient access and R&D. The team works as insights partners across Commercial Strategy Corporate Affairs and Operations and generates insights through market research and patient and physician data analyses.

The team composition is highly skilled experts with a commercial/business/consulting background and different nationalities. We are 4 people in Denmark and 1 in Bangalore.
