The position
As Global Associate Director, you will set the direction to the future success of our in-market obesity brands by leading the development of our brand strategies and orchestrating expansion opportunities across our obesity portfolio.
The main responsibilities are:
  • Set the strategy in collaboration with multiple cross-functional colleagues in headquarter and regional leaders
  • Manage strategic implementation collaborating with affiliates worldwide, track performance, and drive global strategic insights
  • Represent marketing function in future therapy area and portfolio discussions
  • Contribute to portfolio management and Life Cycle Management (LCM) discussions to maximize the value of our obesity portfolio
  • Financial and project management, including vendor management and costs, ensure progress according to guidelines and identify and mitigate risks
  • Additionally, you will be expected to provide input to Senior Management decision making, support core marketing processes such as launch planning and budget allocation as well as coach less experienced members of the team in commercial excellence and marketing.
    Travel is expected up to 30 days per year. Qualifications
    To succeed in this role, the following qualifications will enable you:
  • 6+ years of relevant experience e.g. marketing, strategy development, or consultancy
  • Master’s degree or equivalent within in the areas of business or science
  • Proven track record of strategic planning and implementation in a global setting
  • Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder management skills are required
  • Experience within pharmaceutical marketing, medical affairs market access, sales and project management are a plus
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • As a person, you thrive working as a generalist in cross-functional teams with people from all over the world. You have a high degree of independence, initiative, and ability to make complex decisions that involve coordination with Headquarters, affiliates, and external stakeholders.
