Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to lead mid- and long-term strategic forecasting, synthesis of therapy areas, market insights, commercial strategy implications and recommendations within Commercial in Novo Nordisk? And are you grounded and can navigate with thoughtful recommendations in the interaction with senior management, key brands, Affiliates, - Regions, - Operation Units - in support of decision-making and strategy development, at brand, portfolio and corporate level? If yes, apply today as you might be our new Global Forecasting Associate Director for Obesity Strategy and Insights. The Position Obesity portfolio and LTF process responsible and key contact to LTF central team. Lead on the preparation of high-quality forecasts for key, on a regional and/or global level, including Long Term Forecast (LTF), Spring Review (SR), Gate passage, as well as supporting Business Development cases. Obesity therapy area responsibility:
  • Global responsibility for obesity, including Operational Units/ Region/key markets forecast
  • Lead Assumptions and forecast alignment across HQ functions and operations in prioritized markets
  • Lead development of market models and LTF process for price inputs to global LTF
  • Lead of the preparation of best-in-class market analyses and long-term market projections to senior management and affiliate GMs to impact strategic and operational decision-making
  • You will be d riving alignment and maintain strong partnership with key stakeholders, which include senior management and partners in HQ, Regions, Top-10 affiliates, Commercial Finance and Product Supply (PS), to ensure alignment and successful attainment of common targets. Qualifications
  • Master’s degree (business, engineering, natural sciences)
  • 10+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry and a broad knowledge of forecasting across therapy areas
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and thrive in a complex and paced environment
  • You communicate and present your cases with confidence along with a natural strong attention to stakeholders
  • High level of independence in leading and set direction across regions and functions
  • High level of independence in development of project scope, project plan, passage of key milestones and key decisions
  • A strong communicator with fluency in written and spoken English
  • About the Department The key purpose of the Obesity Strategy & Insights dept. is to provide clear and directional guidance to early pipeline and Commercial execution on what is needed for Novo Nordisk to sustain and expand leadership in obesity. Another key purpose is to ensure that commercial deliverables and insights are developed to support key R&D and Commercial project decisions. The Obesity Strategy & Insights dept. drives advanced analyses such as disease segment opportunity mapping, project portfolio analyses, disease landscaping analyses, key competitor analyses, disease segment asset explorations, peak sales analysis, and full business case analyses for individual projects. Roles in Obesity Strategy & Insights are in general very complex, dealing with a disease area – however, a very dynamic and changing market with high level of focus internal and external.
