The Position We are looking for an Associate Global Director who can take charge and lead the efforts in developing the brand and launch campaigns for semaglutide in NASH. NASH is a serious chronic disease impacting up to 265 million people worldwide, and the number of people in the advanced stages is expected to double by 2030. However, no treatments are available for people living with NASH today. The main responsibilities of the role will be to champion and drive the development of the branding elements and campaigns for launch, including:
  • Key messages and HCP core narrative
  • Brand essence, visual identity, and creative concept
  • Development of prioritized global marketing materials and launch packages for markets
  • In addition, you will be expected to support other core marketing processes and deliverables, such as the development of the multichannel engagement strategy, the overall brand strategy, the go-to-market strategy, key labelling and device decisions, portfolio considerations, coaching less experienced members of the team, as well as take on a role as global commercial quarterback/point of contact for selected key markets. All of this in close collaboration with your colleagues in the global team, and working across functions, regions, and our strategic markets to ensure market fit and organizational readiness for launch. As we are on a journey of growth, the role would also offer opportunities for you to develop your informal leadership skills as we hope to grow the team further. Qualifications To succeed in this role, ideal candidate should have:
  • Master’s degree or above in a relevant area
  • 7+ years of relevant experience within pharmaceutical marketing/medical affairs/sales/access
  • Strong marketing and commercial acumen, and a proven track record of strategic planning and implementation within brand and marketing
  • A combination of hands-on affiliate and global/regional experience
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • On a personal level, you are a great team player and excel at stakeholder management as you will be working across a complex matrix organisation across HQ, North Americas, International Operations, Regions, and Affiliates. In addition, you appreciate that everything we do is for the patients, and nothing that is done at a global level will have any impact, unless it ultimately impacts the outcome for a person living with NASH somewhere across the globe. As a person, you are a marketer by heart combined with strong commercial acumen. You have strong leadership and interpersonal skills combined with a strong personal drive and dedication. You are a strong communicator and ready to be an ambassador for people living with NASH and are ready to take centre stage on the podium as we get ready for launch. You are able to ensure progress in a complex stakeholder landscape and thrive in a changing environment with a positive attitude. About the Department You will be anchored in the NASH Brand Team under the NASH Commercial Unit, which is part of the SVP area Other Serious Chronic Diseases consisting of NASH, CVD, Alzheimer, and CKD, co-located and based in Søborg, Denmark. We are focused on building a diverse and talented team across the serious chronic disease teams, and you will join a Brand Team representing 7 nationalities with a 50/50 gender split.
