Tetra Pak Ice Cream Solutions – the world leading supplier of equipment and production lines for the ice cream industry – are looking for a Mechanical Engineer – Team Lead for product areas in Line Solutions. We expect solid competences and a strong interest in mechanical systems as well as experience with and the talent for creating results by designing as well as guiding and supporting others.
As a Mechanical Engineer – Team Lead at Tetra Pak, you will execute on engineering tasks associated with engineering projects and customized solutions to the ice cream industry. You will become part of an international leading company, where you will have a dynamic working day in close collaboration with colleagues across the organisation.The position is based in Aarhus.
•Design technical solutions
•Drive and support a team of engineers to ensure delivery of specifications, solutions in time with correct quality and at the specified cost
•Plan tasks and manage resources in daily operations
•Lead or participate in design reviews and evaluate a design in terms of functionality, safety, hygiene, cost, Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Serviceability (DFS), etc. by utilizing a system approach that simultaneously considers all the design goals and constraints for the product
•Support sales with customised solutions, specifications and cost calculations
•Lead and solve tasks by being analytical and having a structured and systematic approach
•Troubleshooting and problem-solving activities
•Coordinate and communicate with other teams on project status and changes

This position will require a B.Sc. or M.Sc. with minimum 5 years’ experience, and we prefer some specialist knowledge and competences within mechanical systems.
•Strong competence within Mechanical Design
•Good knowledge about System Engineering
•The ability to take on an informal leadership role
•Experience with cross-functional products that, in addition to mechanics, include automation
•Acquired a profound familiarity with the Machinery Directive
•Experience within the food / dairy industry is an advantage
•Familiar with ERP systems (SAP)
•Excellent English and Danish skills, both orally and in writing
•Currently you live and are eligible to work in Denmark
