Mechanical technician / engineer sought for operation and development team in Denmark's
only elevator production company (Gilleleje)
Do you want to develop and construct new and optimize existing products for our product portfolio and take partial responsibility for both the technical and development-oriented aspects? At the same time as helping to lift the responsibility for the units that are in order being produced and delivered on time and in the right quality? HYDRO-CON is a small company with more than 30 years of experience in developing, producing and installing elevators and lifts. Our products are Danish designed, high quality, meet norms and standards, and guarantee a long shelf life and longevity.
We are looking for a mechanical engineer / engineer who will act as a partner to operate and work closely with our development team. The position is referenced and will take place in close collaboration with our project manager and chief designer, and primarily focus on design, development, maturation and adaptation of our wide product range. Work must be expected primarily at our factory in Gilleleje, but also at facilities around the country.
Here are some of the tasks you will be co-responsible for:
● Development of new and existing products.
● Development and design of special orders
● Instruction and courses in production and maintenance of products.
● Telephone support about the constructions and products.
● Customer dialogue about design and construction
● Construction and management of quality control systems.
● Calculation and price calculation as well as optimization.
● Handling of primary supplier negotiations of new goods and materials.
● Preparation of documentation, manuals, drawings, risk assessment and CE marking.
We think the following might suit you well:
● Mechanical tech or engineering education, preferably in the field of machinery or electrical
● You have around 5 years of work experience.
● You have competencies within technical construction drawing in AutoCAD or similar.
● You can work independently but also work well in a team.
● You put a virtue in meeting strict deadlines.
● You are not willing to compromise on quality, and are safety conscious.
● You work in a structured and process-oriented way.
● You are dutiful, outreach, and are not afraid to take responsibility.
● Having knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting is an advantage but not a requirement.
