Blades Module Blades Material & Processes Blades Support
The new Blade CIM (Continuous Improvement Management) Engineering Team will be part of the Blade Support department which is responsible for ensuring seamless execution of the blade design intent in factories and service with an aim to minimise total full life cost of ownership of our blade module.
Responsibilities
As part of the team, you will participate in a wide selection of allocated CIM issues and contribute to the reduction in blade related CIM costs.

Blades Module Blades Material & Processes Blades Support
The new Blade CIM (Continuous Improvement Management) Engineering Team will be part of the Blade Support department which is responsible for ensuring seamless execution of the blade design intent in factories and service with an aim to minimise total full life cost of ownership of our blade module.
Responsibilities
As part of the team, you will participate in a wide selection of allocated CIM issues and contribute to the reduction in blade related CIM costs.
- Work closely with blade engineering personnel to identify blade CIM issues
- Use root cause analysis to understand, contain and prevent future problems and design faults
- Support to rectify or repair problems within the design phase
- Work closely with structural /design engineers and factory to modify or redesign blades
- Blade CIM projects/case handling will be delivered within agreed scope, cost and timeline
- Analyse and assess cause and effect of composite structures & assembly deviations
- Responsible for a composite structure repair specification, the design and production data analysis as well as the NC (Non-conformance) management
Qualifications
- You will hold a relevant engineering degree, ideally mechanical / polymer engineering or related subject
- You will have experience in composite design and process, it would be beneficial to come from the Wind turbine industry as blade knowledge would be an advantage
- You will have composite structural repair knowledge
- Experience in DFMEA/PFMEA, Six sigma tools
