Dinex is looking for a Senior Calibration & Controls Specialist, who will manage the development and validation of ATS (after-treatment system) calibration and controls by our suppliers and in co-ordination with our customers.
Location: Dinex, Middelfart (Denmark) or Dinex, Bindlach (Germany) or Dinex, Kreuztal (Germany)

Qualifications
- 5+ years hands-on and field experience in calibration and controls for EU-V / EU-VI HD ATS
- Experience managing requirements and specifications of ATS calibration and controls
- ATS calibration and OBD process knowledge using DOE and advanced optimization techniques
- Practical experience developing and operating ATS controls and engine or vehicle dynamometer
- Experience leading team of calibration & controls engineers would be an advantage
- Solid knowledge of calibration tools e.g. INCA, CANAPE and hands-on software experience
- Good knowledge of instrument engineering e.g. with LabVIEW virtual workbench
- Working knowledge in MATLAB / Simulink
- Working knowledge of CAN protocols and communication protocols for ECU, ACU & VCU
- Bachelors or Master of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Excellent verbal and writing skills in English
- Ability to apply creative problem solving
- Agile, customer-focused and result-oriented
- Possession of sound commercial and risk judgment
- Proficient with MS Office suite
Roles & Responsibilities
- Dinex responsible for calibration & controls workstream in current and future ATS projects
- Standardize own workstream documentation – requirements, specifications, development & validation plan and methodologies (for engine bench and vehicle), checklists, RASIC.
- Participate in pre-project phase as expert selling Dinex calibration & control management capabilities
- Assess customer requirements and supplier specifications from techno-commercial point of view during planning and execution
- Prepare and evaluate calibration & controls’ suppliers RFQs for scope of supply, scope of work and integration between
- Manage calibration & controls supplier deliverables and timeline in interest of Dinex and its customers
- Guide and train your team, service engineers in Dinex Group and customer service personnel
- Coordinate between Dinex service engineers and customer field engineers for fast troubleshooting
- Lead task force on key calibration and control issues at customer location during or after project
- Ensure stage-gate readiness of calibration & controls deliverables, final validation sign-offs and warranty agreements after audits, critical review and risk assessment
- Define test protocols and create emission test reports
- Develop and maintain Dinex software and hardware diagnostics tools for ATS calibration & controls
- Maintain central calibration & controls knowledge database within Dinex Group
- Travel to Dinex test centers, customer and supplier engine test cells and field vehicle locations for 40-50 days per year
