Dinex is looking for a Product Validation Specialist to join our global testing & validation team, who will take the responsibility of the validation of tomorrow’s exhaust aftertreatment systems for diesel and gas engines, in close collaboration with Dinex customers and internal R&D teams.

Qualifications
- Educational background within chemical or mechanical engineering with 3+ years of experience from the automotive sector
- Theoretical background on internal combustion engines and exhaust aftertreatment systems (EATS)
- Hands-on experience on EATS development, controls and/or testing & validation
- Hands-on experience on EATS calibration is a plus
- Some theoretical understanding of noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) and corrosion is a plus
- Strong structuring and analysis skills of large data from engine and EATS testing
- Hands-on experience with Matlab
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong problem solving capabilities

- Organized and systematic mindset with ability to focus on details
- Fluent in written and spoken English and relevant terminology
Roles & Responsibilities
You will take the role as Product Validation Specialist with the main responsibility of:
- Discussing and aligning on EATS test & validation specifications with internal and external customers of our Test Centre in Denmark
- Making detailed test protocols for test execution and handing them over to the test engineers and test technicians
- Performing data verification, analysis, evaluation, documentation and reporting of emission tests
- Calibrating simple engine and catalyst control models for e.g. urea dosing control for the SCR system or NOx model of engine raw emissions
- Supporting the Test Centre Coordination function with time schedule and corrections to test programs
- Participating in technical discussions and reviews with internal and external customers
- Actively participating in root cause analysis of product performance and durability issues, providing insights and resolution ideas based on test data
- Supporting development effort from lab scale to real driving emissions
- Participating in continuous improvement activities in the test centre such as automation and standardization of tests
- Representing the test centre to customer meetings when strong expertise is required
- Travel to Dinex test centres, customers, and test suppliers globally for a total of 10-20 days per year
