If so, Randstad is looking for you for an exciting developmental vacancy in an international environment, on behalf of SANOVO TECHNOLOGY GROUP onsite in Odense, Denmark.

your role

You will be part of a technically strong team, dedicated to working with the development of future mechanical and process equipment. They are increasingly using robots and your main focus will be developing and supporting this part of their business.

You will – alongside the department’s other employees in Denmark, the Netherlands, and Italy – play an active role in the overall development process. Therefore, it is important that you thrive in an international environment with shared objectives as focal point.

In this position, being part of the overall development process means developing new products or the optimisation of existing ones. Your tasks will range from specification of requirements and brainstorming to 3D modelling, constructing, and testing prototypes.

You will also be responsible for both implementation in the product configurator and follow-up during production as well as after installation of the prototype at the client’s premises. The software used is 3D SolidWorks.

All processes are developed and continuously optimised by dedicated development teams at the three development centres in Denmark, the Netherlands and Italy; a total of 60 employees. You will be a part of the team in Denmark, collaborating periodically with colleagues in the Netherlands and Italy. SANOVO TECHNOLOGY GROUP is ISO 9001:2015 certified; pursuing structured courses of development based on the Stage-Gate model.

Your primary tasks will be:
o Generating ideas for choice of concept
o Designing and constructing solutions
o Taking part in testing and 3D modelling of new products in SolidWorks
o Working mainly with development projects using robots
o Taking part in constructing and testing prototypes

what is expected of you?

o You are a mechanical engineer with some years of experience in machinery and process development based on modern 3D design tools
o SolidWorks experience is an advantage
o You are passionate about supporting the development of robotic systems, e.g. being responsible for producing effective drawings
o You are innovative and visionary, with a strong focus on creating solutions for the future
o You are committed and willing to absorb yourself in tasks, and you are comfortable with having more of the same going on simultaneously. Still, you are able to stay in control, and bring the task to completion within deadline
o You are able to communicate on a professional level in English, and preferably also in Danish – in writing as well as orally
o You thrive in working independently, but also accept the obvious fact that team-based collaboration is part of the job
o You are by nature structured, innovative, curious, and project-oriented
