Specialist within cooling for our R&D department</strong
We are looking for a new colleague for our R&D department in Silkeborg, to handle our internal calculation tools for cooling and conditioning.</p As Specialist you will play a vital role in Ymer Technology, as you will take on the responsibility for our internal calculations tools. You will get the chance to make a real impact on everything from calculation accuracy, to user interface and verification tests.
The primary tasks will be to develop our tools even further, improve accuracy and prepare them to include new product ranges.
You will also bring value to our Customer Engineering team, where you will supporting with your knowledge within e.g. thermodynamics, fluid dynamics and simulation/calculation.

You will be a part of Business Unit Wind in Silkeborg where we are approx. 50 competent colleagues, and on top of that around 300 colleagues around the globe. Specialist within cooling for our R&D department</strong
We are looking for a new colleague for our R&D department in Silkeborg, to handle our internal calculation tools for cooling and conditioning.</p As Specialist you will play a vital role in Ymer Technology, as you will take on the responsibility for our internal calculations tools. You will get the chance to make a real impact on everything from calculation accuracy, to user interface and verification tests.
The primary tasks will be to develop our tools even further, improve accuracy and prepare them to include new product ranges.
You will also bring value to our Customer Engineering team, where you will supporting with your knowledge within e.g. thermodynamics, fluid dynamics and simulation/calculation.
Your primary tasks will be:
- Develop design tools and guidelines with area thermodynamics, fluid-dynamics and similar
- Be responsible for Ymer's calculation tool, incl. roadmap, updates, accuracy of calculations and user interface.
- Be a resource in customer projects, whenever your area of specialty is required
- Plan test campaigns with internal and external laboratories for improvement of models, calculation tools ect.
- Analysis of results for further use in design work
- Co-Simulation with customers
- Secure a high level of documentation and quality in the R&D team</li
- Implement data-oriented design processes- gathering and analysis of Ymer internal data. Test from production, prototype tests, test for calculation software.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS</strong
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Your professional background
- Master degree within engineering, physics or similar
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience within calculation, simulation and/or test of thermodynamic systems
- Experience with data processing and analysis Experience with programming in e.g. Matlab, EES and similar.
