Maersk Container Industry (MCI) is looking for a Mechanical Engineer, for the design and development of our Star Cool System. If this exciting opportunity captures your interest, join us on our journey and become a part of our Maersk Container Industry family.
We offer
As a Mechanical Engineer you will join our Star Cool Design & Documentation team. As part of the Technology R&D department you will be working on the development of next generation of refrigerated containers as well as optimizing the current products.
You will be engaging stakeholders across the organization in both Denmark and China. In your everyday work, you will experience a high degree of independence in a flexible work environment where innovation and quality have a very high priority. Key responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will be to:
• Design and construction in 3D with focus on design for production and serviceability
• Project support and management across the organization
• Make and update drawings and specifications with focus on quality and data discipline
• High level strength calculations and simulations
• Perform and document tests
• Contribute to optimizing and developing the Star Cool product portfolio
• Contribute to developing new products and features
• Monitor opportunities for optimizing products with new technologies/processes
We are looking for
To qualify for the position as Mechanical Engineer, we expect that you hold a master or a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related areas.
Your proven experience should include:
• General material knowledge and basic knowledge of strength calculation
• Experience with 3D AutoCAD/Inventor
• Flair for technique
• Skills within analysis and investigation and flair for figures and systems
• Fluent in English, Danish is preferred but not mandatory
To succeed in the role, it requires that you are able to work on several projects simultaneously without compromising quality. You take pride in taking full responsibility for your tasks and projects and brings innovative ideas and solutions to the table.
