Are you an experienced mechanical engineer? Do you have experience with injection molding? Do you thrive in an environment where you push the edge of technology and develop outside the box solutions? Then you might be the new Mechanical Engineer for molding designs!
The Job
You will join an innovative team consisting of both R&D and Supply Chain Integration specialists. In this collaborative setting, we are working in a project base environment with both traditional and agile methodologies. You will not only maintain an existing product portfolio, but also be part of developing new products and product platforms.
You will execute R&D activities and will coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners; thus you will need to communicate specifications at a high level of detail and be good at following up on tasks.

We are looking for a candidate that have experience within mechanical engineering in industrial electronics or similar. Other than that, we are looking for a candidate that;
You will be able to work from Danfoss’ office in Nordborg, as well as having the flexibility of home office.

You will:
- Provide specification and design of mechanical parts for industrial electronics
- Provide early prototypes through Additive Manufacturing (3D printing)
- Direct communication with suppliers to control fast and first-time right execution of projects
- Be a proactive member of NPI/PMI teams, supporting cross-functional team activities

What we are looking for
We are looking for a candidate that have experience within mechanical engineering in industrial electronics or similar. Other than that, we are looking for a candidate that;
- Have experience with design for injection molding
- If you have experience with electronics enclosure requirements, this would be an advantage
- Skills in CAD software (CREO, AutoCAD or similar) and knowledge of 2D drawings
- Experience with NPI/PMI models would be an advantage
- Some experience with PLM tools would be an advantage
- Great communications skills in English and Danish
