Service Global Service Operations Global Operations Engineering
As the right candidate, you will be part of the Global Operations Engineering team, a small and global team reporting into Service Operations and responsible for implementing and improving robust technologies, software and processes, as well as coordinating knowledge sharing and collaboration with other internal teams. This includes working with all global Service units worldwide and design teams to co-ordinate and develop wind energy SCADA and PPC operational strategies for our MultiBrand portfolio across Vestas. You will be responsible for coordinating global responses to our wind SCADA/PPC MultiBrand OEM infrastructure such as Siemens, GE, Suslon and Senvion, as well as building common global practices for operating all types of Wind turbine plants across the globe.
You will be coordinating a team of 5-10 experts within different areas, with the goal of enruing delivery from the wind farms. Your time is spent qually between operational task with focus on trouble shooting and on development and knowledsharing accros teams, in order to support the development and ability to deliver quick solutions to any issues.

This roles is based in Århus, Denmark, but we are open to hire in any of our European offices such as Madrid or Hamburg.
Travel: we are expecting up to 25 % travel for this position.

Responsibilities
For the anything relating to operational standards or communicating with all business units in relation to operating renewable non-Vestas brand energy assets, your responsibilities will be following:
- Own communication flow and development of best practices across MultiBrand plant experts in the regional Plant Operations Engineering teams, VPS, Service Solutions, Service Commercial and Service Digitisation & Transformation
- Strategically plan, build and implement improvements to processes, tools and knowledge in support of regional Plant Operations Engineering teams and their MultiBrand customers
- Own and direct the internal "MultiBrand Virtual Team" representing the complete voice of MultiBrand Operations worldwide
- Act as a central point of contact between centralised engineering and business teams (like VPS, CIM and Service Solution, Service Commercial, Service Digitisation & Transformation) to Plant Operations Engineering
- Ensure that each regional Plant Operations Engineering unit becomes an motivated stakeholder in the new product development's phase
- Ensure smooth start of new product releases, ensuring all relevant Plant Operations Engineering teams are trained in depth in the product and having all needed documentation to support construction, commissioning and operations
- Ensure that all relevant Plant Operations Engineering teams are trained globally for all critical processes and tools
Qualifications
A MultiBrand Specialist who is part of the Global Operations Engineering is expected to have the following experience and qualifications:
- Solid experience of supporting Plants from one or more manufacturers such as Siemens, Suzlon, Gamesa or GE. This includes general engineering experience working on the design or operations of networks for energy projects, SCADA systems, power plant controllers and other related technologies
- Be recognised in having ability to communicate to stakeholders on topics relating to your expertise
- Be recognised by their manager as a leader and role model for the team
- Speak and write fluently in English and proven ability to communicate across cultures
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in engineering, physics or related technical discipline from an accredited university
Competencies
- Thorough experience of Vestas processes and systems and ability to navigate a complex global matrixed organisation with the ability to influence without designated authority
- Comfortable communicating and presenting to all levels of internal and customer organisations
- Leadership in your field and to be able to establish influential relationships at all levels internally and externally, with great stakeholder management skills
- Self-moved and a solid contributor
- Organisational and communication skills and outgoing personality that allow you to achieve results through multi-disciplinary teams, involving colleagues from various parts of Vestas as well as external partners globally
- Experience of at least five years within Project teams
