Then come join our global Core Infrastructure and Security team as a Senior IT Network Engineer, where you primarily will take lead and execute in designing, implementing, configuring, replacing and documenting critical network infrastructure solutions based on a wide range of technologies in close collaboration with global IT colleagues and end users.

Based at our Head Quarters in North Zealand (Hørsholm), you will form part of a global IT team consisting of approximately 110 employees located across Denmark, Spain, Poland, Germany, France and North America. You will report directly to our Director for Core IT Infrastructure and IT Security who is based in Italy.

In this role you can expect to travel internationally approx. 30-40 days annually.

The Position

As our Senior IT Network Engineer, you will:

• Support, troubleshoot and develop existing systems, to ensure a high level of performance and stability and come up with innovative solutions to new business needs
• Design, implement and operate Cisco Switches, Routers and Wireless controllers
• Implement and operate Palo Alto Firewalls
• Design, implement and operation global MPLS and IPSEC infrastructure.
• Transform the network from pure MPLS into using a mix of MPLS, IPSEC and SD-WAN
• Assist with implementation of innovative solutions to meet business needs
• Provide directions to best practice, solutions and advise to management
• Adhere to compliance, perform reporting, troubleshooting and focus on quality

Your qualifications
With proven experience working within network operation teams and an educational background in computer science, engineering or the like, you possess strong key stakeholder management skills and can collaborate at all levels within a global organisation.

It is important that you have solid experience with Cisco Switches, Routers, Wireless LAN Controllers and Identity Service Engine, Palo Alto firewalls or the like and dynamic routing protocols BGP and OSPF. Experience with VoIP systems, GxP and qualification of computerised systems is an advantage.

Furthermore, you possess strong oral and written communication skills and can communicate complex topics in a simple and clear way. As you will be managed remotely, it is important you can work independently and are good at managing your own time. You have a structured and process oriented working style balanced with a pragmatic and solutions-oriented approach.

Fluency in English and Danish is a prerequisite.
