We are looking for a domain architect ready to share and grow
Situated in Warsaw, Poland, or Roskilde, Denmark, and part of bec’s Enabler & Platform Architecture team, you will join a team of 6 other domain architects, who are responsible for guiding the development of the platforms in bec. In the team, we have a strong focus on collaboration, knowledge sharing, and value creation to achieve the best possible results. Experimentation and finding smarter solutions are an essential part of the work.

The domain architect's primary success criteria is to ensure a solid architecture and design for the product that is to be delivered by the development organization.

Primary tasks and responsibilities
In the function area called Workplace Domain in bec, we are building the future workplace station for our member banks. We are using leading edge technology and are the pioneer in the business with a setup that includes Azure cloud. Our member banks need to be able to have a flexible workstation, that enables their changing needs together with the highest level of security, resiliency, and robustness. To ensure that, we are building the future workplace setup and are now looking for a domain architect with vision and technical knowledge and experience that can help with the transformation.

To do this, we need to create a target state and transitional architecture together with the domain and present and guide the findings throughout the transformation. This will be essential for the role as a domain architect.

Responsibilities for the domain architect role involves:

• Create target architecture for the domain together with enterprise architects and domain key stakeholders, incl. modern workplace for member banks and a new setup for developers
• Create transitional architecture towards target
• Understand the business value and the business product to be delivered, to ensure coherency with the target architecture
• Create guidelines and patterns as architectural guardrails
• Participate in steerco together with development director
• Create overview and ensure transparency for architectural domain deliverables
• Ensure help and support in the architecture processes
• Participate in architectural collaboration cluster work, having a room with architects to spare with and align tasks and solving tasks

We are looking for you who love to explore and learn!
We are looking for an ambitious and competent domain architect with drive and a pioneering attitude. Moreover, you have a professional background in engineering, computer science or similar and have at least 5-10 years of experience as a system engineer, software - or system/domain architect.

We ensure that banks can comply with the legislation such as reporting requirements, providing solutions for individual banks as well as the entire community of bec banks.

bec is performing an ambitious architectural transformation, and as the domain architect of the platforms, you will be right at the center of where that transformation is driven. Therefore, as a person, we expect you to identify with the following:

• Strong collaboration skills to align bec’s enterprise architecture to domain architecture with the overall goals of the architecture transformation
• Strong writing and presenting skills to convey meaning across the entire bec organization on new concepts and ideas
• With colleagues in teams distributed in Denmark and Poland, you must master English at a high level both in writing and orally

A good understanding of the below technologies and concepts are preferable:

• Experience with workstation setup, having knowledge about infrastructure, network, security, vulnerability, integrations, authentication and authorization, hardware & software and governance requirements
• A good understanding of Microsoft products, preferable Azure and Endpoint Manager (MS Intune) - furthermore we are using MS Office 365, Azure AD and Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop
• Experience in architecture as a discipline; visualization, documentation & coordination
• Change management tools, e.g. ADKAR (if not, we can teach you, because implementing architecture is a change in itself)
