Georg Jensen is looking for a part-time Finance Student Assistant from CBS (economy related)

We are currently looking for a replacement for our Student Assistant in the Finance department with primary focus on Account Payables and vendor invoices etc.

You will report to the Head of Accounting. The team consists of approx. 10 employees who are working with all areas of accounting and controlling.

The role

The position is a part time student assistant position with the chance of getting your hands on all kinds of economy related areas but initially, primarily AP Controlling. We are looking for a student assistant who can work approx. 2-3 working days a week and perhaps a little extra during peaks.

The criteria for success in this position will be persistence, understanding, and a willingness to support the current team members.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Suppliers, handling of invoices and purchase orders and reconciliation of statements etc.
  • Finding G/L documentation for balance accounts
  • Ad hoc tasks within Accounting and Controlling

Your Profile:

You have an open mind, are willing to learn and can manage more than one task at once. You have to be reliable because your colleagues are depending on your assistance and spend a substantial amount of time updating your competencies.

The ideal candidate has the following competencies:

  • Solution and process-oriented
  • Team player with a service minded attitude
  • Dynamic, energetic and structured
  • Reliability and the will to deliver on time in agreed formats
  • Ability to work well under pressure and deliver results on time in collaboration with the team
  • Business proficiency in both spoken and written Danish and English
  • Skilled MS Office user, particularly Excel.
