We are looking for interns year-round who want to focus on service management, events and tourism while helping run and develop a vibrant café, hostel and NGO-house in Copenhagen with exciting partners and guests from all over the world. We are looking for interns year-round who want to focus on service management, events and tourism while helping run and develop a vibrant café, hostel and NGO-house in Copenhagen with exciting partners and guests from all over the world.You become part of the Social Entrepreneurship Team, which together with 150 volunteers hosts around 200 events. Furthermore, we have about 20.000 visitors a year in Globalhagen hostel, cafe and NGO-House. The NGO-house hosts 15 organizations and are also a hub for meetings and conferences for other organisations. The teams' various units work together as a team and divide the responsibilities according to interest, qualification and development goals.

Som praktikant i Globalhagen House står du for at servicere vores brugere af mødelokaler og kontorpladser. Dagen starter med klargøring af lokaler, opdatering af dagens mødeoversigt samt modtagelse af eksterne gæster. I løbet af dagen står du for booking af lokaler og forplejning, besvarelse af e-mails samt forsendelse af bekræftelser og fakturering. Du arbejder tæt sammen med resten af Social Entrepreneurship teamet, har daglig kommunikation med vores kokke og øvrige personale og lejere i Mellemfolkeligt samvirke. As an intern in Globalhagen House you are responsible for our internal and external meeting room guests and renters of our office spaces. Your workday starts with checking up on our meeting facilities and welcoming our external meeting guests. During the day you will replay to booking e-mails, send confirmation letters and do invoicing. You will co-operate with the rest of Social Entrepreneurship team and be in daily dialogue with our kitchen staff and the renters of our office spaces. You will get the opportunity to have independent responsibilities with relevant support from the senior team members. You will also regularly meet with your intern supervisor, so we together can make sure that your learning will be as valuable and focused as possible.Regarding the Hostel in particular: Regarding the Hostel in particular:For each intern at Globalhagen Hostel it’s mandatory to take hostel shifts 15 hours per week. The other days your shifts will be in the office, where you have workspace for your specific internship area and projects and where you work closely together with the team and your supervisor. This assures that you will get completely comfortable with the importance of all the different aspects of running a social business and you will learn how to combine creative work, theory and planning with hands on tasks.
