Nordea is recruiting a Crisis Management professional to join our team in either Stockholm, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Oslo. The Crisis Management Development Lead will be part of a small team. You will primarily be responsible for structuring, developing and optimizing the strategy to mature an incident to crisis management and drive improvements across Nordea.

About this opportunity
Welcome to the Business Continuity and Crisis Management team. We add value by supporting all units across the enterprise to analyse their operations, develop the appropriate recovery strategies for risks, and train employees to recover efficiently. We prepare the enterprise for unplanned, wide-scale emergency response and test strategies for effectiveness. As a Crisis Management Development Lead, you’ll play a valuable role in developing and executing operational crisis readiness and incident response plans.
What you’ll be doing:
• Driving and supporting the maturity of the Crisis Management strategy across the bank by closely collaborating with relevant stakeholders in alignment with the process for Crisis Management
• Driving annual CMT testing with relevant cross-functional stakeholders & SMEs
• Ensuring alignment with Nordea's overarching Operational Resilience capability and the Crisis Management Plans and Contingency Plans
• Optimizing tools and process improvement to mature incident and crisis management.
• Identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement.
The role is based in Copenhagen; Helsinki; Oslo; Stockholm.

• Proactive, taking ownership of tasks, prioritizing and delegating tasks in the team

• Experience working in a regulated industry, preferably Finance and business areas with a service-oriented mindset
• Have some knowledge about crisis management of a major international company.
• Good networking abilities, through strong personal and ‘likeability’ skills, you are able to communicate well across organizational levels, including c-suite, senior management, business partners and external bodies
• A critical-thinker and adapts quickly and effectively when faced with complexities or unexpectedly changing goals, priorities, and mission parameters.
• Calm and effective communication skills and a fluent English speaker as well as a native speaker of a Nordic language
Your experience and background:
• Knowledge in implementing a strategy including budgetary and project management leadership skills;
• Excellent problem-solving skills, strategic business development skills and well-developed influencing skills;
• Some knowledge and/or experience of regulatory requirements and standards on Crisis Management and Business Continuity Management.
The position will be reporting to Head of Business Continuity & Crisis Management
